KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe increases its productivity

Expanded production capacities and close cooperation between the production sites ensure higher output and shorter delivery times.

  • Fine Ceramic Components

Kyoto/London − The new organisational structure and expanded production capacities at KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe GmbH are yielding initial results. The company has significantly increased its productivity since the start of the new financial year which started on April, 1st. This is particularly evident in the highly demanded DEGUSSIT oxide ceramics, where the delivery time for ceramic pipes has been reduced from twelve to eight weeks.

Webshop is proving very popular

Due to this fact, the KYOCERA Fineceramics Webshop also plays a main role. In the webshop, customers have the possibility to order products from all over the EU through an accelerated and customised process. The shop range includes standard items such as tubes and capillaries, which are available in various dimensions and can be further configured with the help of a slider or direct input. After this, customers get the information concerning the final price. Kyocera grants a ten per cent discount on goods ordered online. The minimum order value is €200 (net).

Conventional orders are, of course, still possible as well.

Best supply situation for oxide ceramics

DEGUSSIT oxide ceramics are the most important product group in the KYOCERA Fineceramics online shop. These are particularly high-quality ceramics that are primarily used by plants in the glass and metal producing and processing industries, in the chemical base materials industry and in industrial furnace construction. Whether as insulating tubes, as protective tubes for thermocouples or as bubbling tubes in molten glass, oxide ceramics are extremely corrosion-resistant and guaranteed dimensionally stable even at extremely high temperatures of up to 1,950 degrees Celsius.

By processing the material itself at European production sites, Kyocera retains control over the desired product properties at all times – even with the now accelerated order processing – and can continue to ensure its consistently high quality.
